Where we work

Hamilton County, and the towns around it.

Burtner Electric has worked out of 787 N. 10th Street in Noblesville since 1986. The trade grew out from there into Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Zionsville, Lawrence, Indianapolis, Anderson, Tipton, Whitestown and Elwood. It is still a family owned shop covering the same ground.

The shop

787 N. 10th Street is where it starts.

Noblesville is the base of operations, the same address the Burtner family has worked out of since 1986. The office is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, weekends closed, and residential emergency service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the calls that cannot wait for the office to open.

Every job that goes out to Carmel, Fishers or the counties beyond starts from this shop, with the same crew and the same name that has been on it since 1986.

Hamilton County suburbs

Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Zionsville.

Carmel

Carmel keeps its own permitting office, separate from the rest of Hamilton County. That matters most on an EV charger install: newer neighborhoods near West Clay or along the 146th Street corridor are usually a straightforward garage run, while older sections closer to the Arts and Design District can need more complex routing. Either way the circuit has to be inspected and approved by Carmel before the federal 30C tax credit applies, and Indiana requires a licensed electrical contractor to do the work at all.

Fishers, Westfield, Zionsville

Fishers, Westfield and Zionsville round out the Hamilton County suburbs we cover alongside Noblesville and Carmel. New construction work has gone into neighborhoods across the county, among them Chatham Hills, Jackson’s Grant, Sunrise on the Monon, Maple Ridge, Holiday Farms, Albany Village, Asherwood, Promontory and Carramoore.

New construction wiring

Marion County and beyond

Lawrence, Indianapolis, and the counties around Hamilton.

Lawrence and Indianapolis

Lawrence and Indianapolis sit in Marion County, and Marion County is one of the Indiana municipalities that requires a licensed electrician to perform inspection report electrical work and bring a home up to code. If you are a homeowner or a realtor there working a closing deadline, send over the electrical section of the report and we will give you a free estimate.

Home inspection report repairs

Anderson, Tipton, Whitestown, Elwood

Anderson, Tipton, Whitestown and Elwood round out the surrounding counties we reach for the same work as Noblesville and Hamilton County: residential and light commercial wiring, panel upgrades and Generac standby power.
